Nintendo 64 Monaural (Mono) Hookup
Using the "Y" adaptor is optional. You may leave the white
audio cable disconnected. If you leave the white connector disabled, set your
games' sound options to "Mono" or "Monaural" to prevent the loss of some game
sounds
Nintendo does not sell "Y" adaptors, however it can be
purchased at most stores that carry Nintendo products.
